I have been working on this small clip to show you a custom bracket that I built. It is combined with a manfrotto monopod and its great to have cause you can take sharper images on longer shutters speed, and its flexible because you can change from standing angles to angles about 20 inches from the ground.
You can switch from horizontal view to vertical view under 1 second, you can also dissemble the whole bracket in 4 seconds. If I you feel that you want to shoot on free hand, the quick release makes it easy to remove the camera from the bracket and it takes no longer then half a second.
