This one was special

I can count the weddings I have been to on my hand, but this one really something special.
Before Daniel and Mari moved to Småland from Örebro Daniel told me the good news that they where getting married.

But not only that, they asked me if I wanted to photograph their wedding.
I was really moved, not Only because they wanted me to take part on their wedding but that they obviously saw a value in my photography.

They asked for lifestyle photos

Two weeks before the wedding we had a phone conference together and we discussed what kind of photographs they wanted, Marie and Daniel told me that they did not want “classic formal” wedding photographs instead they wanted Lifestyle pictures. I also added some of my personal touch so it’s a mix photojournalism and lifestyle.

I’m getting ready for a big shoot tomorrow, I’m going to follow Daniel and Mari on their wedding day with my camera.

Lots of photographing today

Today i had 3 different photo shoots With 2 models, and the sisters Geraldine and Sophie Englund did the make up. Both make up artists and models did a great job.

The first shoot was in a forest location and the second and Third one in an apartment that is currently being renovated.

So now the rest of the job remains, retouching

Could I clone myself?

Hi guys/girls.

There’s a lot going on at the moment so it’s hard for me to keep up with the blogging part, I’m trying hard but I need to get better. Anyone got an idea how to manage this blogging thing? Any tips are welcome! Maybe cloning myself would work?

I was just to upload some picture from todays meeting with Jenny Lax and Marian Hautamäki, but unfortunately my phone just died, so maybe it’s time to get an Iphone at last?

Smoky mountains, am I in Heaven or Hell?

Anyway we went to a location outside of Örebro to look at our next photo site. So after climbing a nightmare stair (420 steps) we almost reached heaven… or was it hell? Of some wierd reason this mountain (or whatever we should call it) is burning on the inside. This is really wierd and hard to explain, I don’t know the reason for this but the effect is that there is holes in the mountain and there’s a lot of smoke coming from the inside of the mountain trough the holes. Sounds stupid I know, but it was a cool experience.

Anyway, on top of this mountain they have made lots of artwork and we thought that we could do something cool out of these artworks in a fashion shoot. So the basic idea is to do this kind of retro outfit combined with modern art, we think that this will do the trick.

Marian Hautamäki will make a cool “vintage” outfit for our model (after we have decided what model to use), Jenny will make up the model and I will do the photographing part.

Small vacation… but another photo shoot this weekend

Currently I’m in Linköping 2 hours from Örebro on a small “vacation”, but on Friday I will go to Borlänge and on Saturday I have another photo shoot with the makeup artist Geraldine Englund together with her sister, she’s also a makeup artist.

I’m not that up to date what kind of theme we are going for and who the model is, but i have faith in Geraldine that she will arrange something great, she always does that’s why it’s so fun to work with here. Sometimes I feel that I would like to do more, but unfortunately I’m not that good with makeup and clothing… yet

Another fashion shoot

Hi folks!
Today I had Successful fashion shoot together with Geraldine and Emelie.
Geraldine made a really nice orange and purple makeup with a simple hair styling on Emelie.
Emelie had a mens shirt from Selected Style in Borlänge with some nice high-heeled on.

Good results

I’m verry satisfyed with the result, and from what I could tell Geraldine and Emelie was too.
Hope to work again with Emelie, shes a good model.

Long time no se

Hi folks,
It’s been a while since I made a post, havent had much time to blog. I’ll try to keep up in the future with the blogging. It really is a full-time job to make a good blog post, kudos to all the souls that succeed with this!

First meeting with the team

Yesterday we had a meeting together with Marian Hautamäki, a really good couture and the makeup artist Jenny Lax.

We are planning to put a “fashion team” together, we want to build a solid relation to work towards the goal to get PR, in Örebro to start with but hopefully expand to a larger part of Sweden.
My feeling is that we are all on the same level, we all want the same thing and that is to expand our portfolios with more carefully prepared photos.
So Marian will basically be responsible for the clothing, Jenny will be responsible for makeup and hair and I of course will be responsible for the photography part.

We also visited the “NOLLNITTON” magazine office to get more information about how they work and who to contact. We have some really good ideas.

It’s about finding the fastest way to the goal

This will really speed up the process towards a more professional portfolio, cause now I work with makeup artist Geraldine in Borlänge. I believe that we make a good team plus that I’m now part of a second team in Örebro.

My plan is to get the business started in June, I still have some things that I need to solve before I can start for real.
So hopefully all the time spent on planing will make my business fairly smooth and with profit, also there will be a lot more photos in my blog posts. Untill now planning, education  and bureaucracy have had a big part in the blog but it will slowly go from that to a blog where I show photos from projects and clients, and a lot of behind the scene photos.
